im trying this out with my new corner. rather than pouring points into speed and agility like most people do, im making a corner with adiquate speed and agility, and good catching, jumping, and vision. so far its working out, i have 2 picks so far this season already.

discuss.

I don't think much can be learned from the first 15 levels, other than if you totally screwed up a build.

My CB has always had mediocre speed, decent agility (for a CB) and good vision. When I jacked his jumping up he had a huge spike in ints. Now I am bringing speed and agility back up and im seeing way fewer balls thrown his way. I think if you want ints you have to have a CB that covers poorly enough to make the QB think his guy is open but has the anticipation, jumping, and quickness to break on the ball. I would rather shut down the receiver than get a ton of picks (and probably completions too) but the high int numbers sure are pretty to look at.

A good idea if you play in the lower leagues, but in the pro you will need high speed imo

in the lower leagues the WRs are probably saving up their SPs to softcap their 2nd skill. because of that they probably have 48-60 speed, < 20 agility, < 20 catching, < 20 vision.

congrats on owning them.

Could you open your build? I want to get a better idea of what you mean.

the reason good cbs dont get picks is because they arent thrown at picks are for stat whores

If you want a playmaking CB, and not a shutdown CB, then jack up Jumping and Catching. Granted, you'll be as much of a liability to your team as a playmaker, but to each his own.

I have had conversations with Pabst about a GreaseMonkey script that can track how many times a CB is "Thrown On." The way the game is coded, it can not reliably tracked. Its a shame, too.
