I came across a piece that is +2 agility and +1 closing speed.

I am intrigued by it. I think that the closing speed is a nice bonus and I have read somewhere that Bort confirmed that it would work for a DE.

Do you guys think this piece is worth keeping and upgrading?

Just the boost to agility should be helpful. That's +2 on top of any normal equipment upgrades. The Closing Speed is questionable but once you get Closing Speed up to 5 or 6 you would have a better idea if it bactually works for you. You can always sell it back and use the bonus points you spent on something else.
