Is there a way to get your CB's and LB's to play inside leverage on blitz plays, etc?

I've been having a hell of a time getting my CB's to cover underneath, essentially stop the back shoulder or underthrows; and taking strange pathing as the ball is on it's way?- have you noticed the same issues? If so, have you found any way to prevent this? (besides zone)

I can't find a good example of the back shoulder throw, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. If you have any ideas I'd be happy to hear them.

looks like they are getting faked, maybe the wr has high faking?

Yeah, It seems CB's are getting faked more this season. I agree this was a fake.

could be - is it possible that the reaction is more due to the depth of the defense? I've read somewhere else about this - and it appears to be a legit answer for why ALL corners / lb's make the same kind of move around the same depth. If that is the case, then how on earth do you set the defense now? clearly they should be looking for a short route if that's what the defense calls for, but it doesn't mean they should ignore how the receivers act.

I noticed that too.....if you are talking about the CB's looking like they are jumping the short routes every play. Is tht what you guys are talking about, because I have tried everything and cannot fix it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Im gonna take a wild guess and say this may be the coverage setting of the players. If they are "agressive even if you might get beat" this could be them exactly taking the fake on a short route hoping to get a pick and getting burned....

You may be right.......but they didn't react this way last season. I will look into the changes made this season regarding the game mechanics.
