So, we're now 2 games into the new season...The East is pretty much coming out the way we thought it would, except for the surprise team of Killian's Red...Now is week 3, and there's only one game that should be too difficult to pick...
Week 2: 6-2

Not a bad start...The 2 games I missed both involved new teams, so there's nothing to really be ashamed of...Now that we got through that...How about we get to week 3:
Texas Tech Big Red Spread (0-2) vs. Baton Rouge Bayou Bengals (0-2)--So, Baton Rouge disappointed me last week...I had them picked to win easily against Killian's, but they laid down on me...Whether that's them or Killian's, I don't know...They won't disappoint me two weeks in a row, as they get a Texas Tech team that is the complete opposite of the real Texas Tech...Baton Rouge 56-Texas Tech 10
Torrington Wildcats (1-1) vs. Killian's Irish Red (2-0)--Killian's defied the Scrolls last week, and that's not a good way to make a first impression on the Freedom Writer...In the meantime, Torrington got killed by one of the doormats in last years version of Da 7...This could be trouble, because Killian's could end up getting drunk on power, and not just beer...Killian's 80-Torrington 3
Lincoln Freedom Warriors (2-0) vs. Antarctica Cavemen (0-2)--Nothing really to say about this game besides the fact that Antarctica is CPU, and Lincoln is one of the beasts of the East...Lincoln 210-Antarctica 0
Texas Presidents (1-1) vs. Deimon Devil Bats (1-1)--Texas was the other team to disappoint me in week 2...That prediction made me look about as smart as our soon to be ex-president looks when he speaks on TV...Deimon gets another team to beat up on a week after spanking Torrington...Deimon 49-Texas 6
Richmond Empire (1-1) vs. Delray Manatees (1-1)--So, Delray shed their cuddly looking exterior in week 2, and put a beating on the Presidents...Unfortunately for them, they're about to run into a pissed off Empire, who ran into the Juggernauts last week...This is not going to be pretty for Delray...Richmond 80-Delray 9
State of Texas Domination (1-1) vs. Jax Beach Juggernauts (2-0)--Jax Beach is eager to show everyone that they're not to be taken lightly this year, and they started off good by thoroughly damaging the Empire...Meanwhile, State of Texas barely managed to squeak by the Paladins, when they should have easily taken care of them...This one is going to be eerily similar to last year...Jax Beach 145-State of Texas 7
Minnesota Paladins (0-2) vs. Alamo City (1-1)--Poor Minnesota, they played their hearts out against the improperly named Domination, and still came up short...Usually when a team puts up 79 against S.O.T., it's a guaranteed win...However, this is not the same Texas...Alamo City looked good week 1, but then they ran into an offense and defense that they will not run across very often this season in Lincoln...Alamo City has a very strong team, Minnesota does not...Alamo City 90-Minnesota 0
GAME OF THE WEEK: Frostburg Bobcats (2-0) vs. Houston (2-0)--Frostburg is 2-0, which would normally be impressive in "Da 7"...However, this is not your average year for the league...The talent level has been severely liquidated, and that gives teams like Frostburg the chance to be competitive...Am I under-estimating Frostburg? Not at all...Any team that does underestimate them will be rudely awakened...Could Houston underestimate this team, as they look forward to their showdown with Lincoln in week 4? It's possible, but highly unlikely...Houston 93-Frostburg 10
There you have it...Another week for the Freedom Writer...Hopefully my record ends up better this week than last week...
