for a balanced TE, who doesn't have many drops, is that too high for around lvl 28 or so?

I kinda figured if I don't have any drops then catching is fine were I have it, which is around 48. does that make sense?

I'm thinking upping it that far (70) is a waste unless I start having drops, no ?

maybe better for a pure receiving TE ?

thanks.

Well my level 44 TE has catching at 53 and he doesn't drop as many as you. So, I would think 48 is fine

You are correct that 70 is a waste at lv28, I have a level 42 TE that is at 55 and I am working it towards 60 this season. There is some good talk in the WR forum about high catching and some theories that it increases you being targeted by the QB.
