many teams have 2 back systems. usually they have a power back and an elusive back. obviously as a DC you would gameplan differently for the 2 backs. what if i wanted to bring the SS into the box for the power back and then play coverage when the elusive or pass catching back is in the game. is there a way to do this?

Not to my knowledge.

Your defense would have to know when each back comes into play. If you can figure the exact situation where they will use each type of back. Well I think you could set the AI to fit the predicaments.

I don't know, I have never controlled a Defensive AI before.

See if you can determine which formation they run in, which down and distance and set it up by that. To answer your question, you cant set it up by which player is in but you can by situation.
