Hi I just started playing this game and I decided to make a QB. I read a few things on the various boards and I tried to build him on the various suggestions. How does he look so far?

in general yer gonna want to keep equipment focused on just one, MAYBE two, attributes. QBs should usually put all eq. into throwing. (I have a FEW pts put in Vision, but most of them in throwing). I also think that usually it's smart to train attributes up a little before tossing points into them. it's a waste of an SP when just 2 days of training alone will bring you up a point. I know it's hard when you just start out and have those 15 sps burning a hole in your pocket, but you'll be much better off holding on to them for just a bit. If your goal is to have a good player in the long run, rather than just right away for a few games, I'd maybe consider retiring the player and just starting over to focus your equipment and train a bit before investing valuable Sps. . . it's only day 2, so that'd be no problem.

good luck!!

Alright, thanks for the help. I just remade him and am going to train first before I use my points. I still have a few questions:

1) What should I focus in for training/SP? I'd expect as a QB to need throwing, vision, and confidence, but I'm not sure if I should evenly distribute between the 3 or just focus on one or two.

2)What should I do about skills? Should I worry more about atributes now, or are there some skills I should invest in right away?

Thanks in advance.

Get throwing until it costs 3 points with all equip in there first. Then focus on getting vision to at least 60, after wards focus on soft capping confidence and strength.

Since you're in the d league don't worry about putting in points until after the season is over. I'd either train agi/speed on intense or throwing/vision.

Don't worry about Sa's until you do the above things. Then focus on Tight spiral

Sorry to bother you but I have one last question. Should I be alternating trainings between agi/speed and throwing/vision or just stick with one?

stick with one, if you are doing throwing/vision and you reach throwing/vision to a high enough point as mentioned above switch
