I know it helps most positions but a Pocket QB? Would that help in any way?

I'd say no.

Could be good for a Scrambling or Rushing QB but I don't see much benefit for a pocket QB.

Defensive players are frozen pre-snap so definitely no.

not good for either QB, as the scrambler is moving around after the play is going usually so where would the 1st step count?

Didn't think so but I just wanted to check with everyone since I've been rolling some advanced eq with my QB and either gotten stupid things like the +1 glare or I've gotten First Step. I got one piece once that was a +3% quality of pass but gave me a +2 jumping...so I get to keep rolling...woo...
