I tried to make an input to 'go for it' on 4rth down when on my opponents side of the field, but not quite in FG range (rather than punt)

So I put in downs 4 of 4 (nothing in yards to go).
On ball spot, I put between opponents 40 and opponents 30

My team went for every 4rth down attempt of the game, no matter where the ball spot was. I did have in the default punt and field goal settings as well.

Help?

What happens when you use the offensive AI tester? Find a play in your game that was incorrectly called as a punt and put those scenario variables into the tester - what comes up as the match?

oh, so that's what that does. LOL. Thanks for the advise, it worked and I found my problem.

You need to select "outside FG range" in special circumstances. That will solve the problem without having to worry about selecting whee on the field to set the ending point for the output.

Also, I would put in a punt output to try and take the regular SIM out of the picture as much as possible.
