When Defensive End Alex Storm chose to start his career off with the Oceania AA Alpha Conference side 'New Caledonia Preachers', he didn't know what he was getting himself into. From the moment Storm got off the plane and stepped foot in New Caledonia, he felt homesick, to the point he could not even wait the 50 hours until The Preachers kickoff game against the 'Perth Tiger Snakes' to see if the playing time would get his mind off things.

Soon enough rumour of a trade was on the cards, and then Alex Storm's representative/owner that goes by the codename 'MuseLuver' posted it on the GLB Organisation's website section 'Players Looking for Teams'.

As displayed here: http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=17069

Soon enough teams such as 'Wolverhampton Wolves' of the Western Europe A (Alpha Conference) and 'Riga Tigers' of the Eastern Europe A (Alpha Conference) were hot on the pursuit of Alex Storm's signature. Even teams outside of Europe saw Storm's cry for help, with the much respected 'Gridiron Rage' of the USA A (Eastern Conference) were reportedly exceedingly close to finalising a deal.

An insider close to the negotiations confirmed that Storm had agreed finances, playing time, even had struck a good speaking relationship with the franchise's owner 'packers0491'. But just as the deal was about to be faxed over to 'MuseLuver' and his client, the 'Oxford Eagles' of the Western Europe Pro League (Zeta Conference) added a hefty signing bonus, and with time ticking down, the deal was done.

Storm signs with an Eagles side that despite losing five straight games, now have back-to-back wins and are in a healthy position to sneak into the playoffs. The financial side of Storm's deal was undisclosed, but we have word to believe that Storm will be a backup to 'eagle god' at LDE and dependent on skill and level, could be battling for a starting role not before long.

[done out of boredom and procrastination]
