i have focused on Speed/Agility/Vision. I never thought jumping was that important but I see other people putting it in the 40's and beyond. How important is it??

Strength > Catching
Catching doesnt have that much of effect on INT and strength is more important because you have to tackle RBs.

There is an undisputed Top 3: SPEED, AGILITY, VISION
After that, it's open for debate. When you hit Level 30 [or even before] have CONFIDENCE at 30+ and STAMINA at 40+. In between, JUMPING can help you get up to the ball, but not pick it. CATCHING is far more effective for a receiver than a CB/DB. The SA's for a CB are effective, especially FIRST STEP and CHANGE DIRECTION as well as SUPER VISION and SHUTDOWN COVERAGE.
Don't spend points on STRENGTH or TACKLING, but train them.

stamina is the worst stat in the game... once you get it over 30 you shouldnt have to drop another Sp in it again.

I don't think you should ever put SP's into it, except maybe at Level 1 to get it to 20. Other than that, just train it.

the reason stamina is so important is because it will greatly decrease your attributes if you are losing a lot of energy half way through the game. I never said add sps to stamina. strength is not important for tackling as it is for breaking the block to stop the outside runs. confidence has been a debate. many successful corners say left it below 20. hope many cbs have theirs capped? if you are laughing at stamina being high and confidence being so low, youre probably the idiot wasting your sps into confidence.

I could agree with this one.
