ok heres a mind boggler.... Say a WR went with Long Reach, in order to be able to PREVENT INTs by a defender? Because in order to make an INT, the defender still has to have a successful "catch" roll, so wouldnt the WR have a chance to bat the ball away?

Agreed, and let us know how it turns out. Make sure you max it out though, it's the only way to fairly evaluate it.

Stop being mean fellas, lol.

OP, I strongly suggest you don't touch long reach. When going up for the ball, a WR is trying to catch the ball, not deflect it, so I'm pretty sure this would have a minimum effect...

I don't think it would even have a minimal effect. As far as I know WRs don't do a pass deflection check, so it would be totally useless.

As far as this talent goes for WRs, you may as well be giving the CB a long reach around.

Build for success, not failure. Why not take skills that increase your chance to actually catch the ball so it isn't picked off in the first place rather than worrying about batting it down?

my WR is a KR PR, so he isnt really interested in any of these skills. As i said, just throwing stuff around.

it makes about as much sense as having O-line train in tackling and D-line train in blocking......hmm, that sounds familiar.
