What have people found with change direction. Is it the direct counter to quick cut ie it helps in coverage, or does seem to only activate when going after the ball carrier?

By skill definition it isn't a skill that activates, but rather a passive skill that is always in effect (like Quick Cut).

It helps close the gap between SPEED and AGILITY, i.e. 80+ SPEED/55+ AGILITY builds don't break an ankle cutting.

i put 8 CD on one of my CBs and noticed a HUGE difference, especially on covering in/out routes and on go routes.

IMO, with the changes to zone coverage CD+FS > Shutdown.
