Sounds like Daysend has all the answers...we should all bow down to his words and be amazed. So I am very happy you got your team in 30 minutes after you sat down. You got lucky ...thats that...Could be a time zone issue also...I may have been at work when the teams came out. I also would like a team but have things that have to get done...like real life stuff...ooo forgot...you live the perfect life and know all. But hey...I can wait for a team...I can hide myself in my room for 30 minutes after work and hope a team comes available. I have a feeling it is all just luck getting a team. What we are saying is that....If you own a couple teams and a few more come along...let someone else get a chance at a team.

There is a difference in forcing people to sell their team because they own more than one versus having your team taken away for collusion actions. I support removing the teams (the higher team, not the farm team) if someone can show they indeed are farm teams.
I will say this. I can guarantee that you got EXTREMELY lucky. I have spent about 2hrs a night over the past week randomly cycling through the teams to see if any are cpu owned. I have also tried doing a search on players on cpu teams and sorting by level. Still nothing. This is alot more time than I should have to spend trying to spend money. Maybe a waiting list?????

The teams were advertised for over a week when they were going to be released. It was also advertised a couple days before the exact day and the fact that they were going to be released in the evening. It was also stated that the programmers live in Portland and it would be done after they got done with work. Anybody with half a brain could pieced it together to determine the time frame the teams were going to be released. Why not spend some time in the Announcements forums every now and then? Every owner and player should be going there anyhow to see what is new and upcoming in the game.
You can no longer buy more than one team, this went out with the last release of 1024 teams. Yes, there were 1024 teams released on that evening. The players that own more than one team have been here and owned their teams into the last season.
Again, they are probably going to release another 1024 teams at the end of this season. If you are truely interested in owning a team, this is the time to listen to what I've just said. If not, browse randomly and you might find something. You're only going to find teams where the owners have sold them back or bankrupted their team. If this is the case, you might head down to the basement now.

So you are sick of the complaining about no teams, yet you still come back here to read more. And then proceed to complain about the complaining. That doesn't make much sense to me.
The fact of the matter is that the process for aquiring new teams is not optimal. There are improvements that can be made. If someone missed the boat on that ONE night that they would have had any chance to sign a team, they are stuck until next season ... or until a financially incompetent owner ruins the team first.
And you might want to try to understand that it's a little tough to take your condescending attitude from someone that is sitting there with exactly what we all want ... our own team.

So I am looking forward to the next release of the teams. Many people are saying the same thing. My guess is that the time zone thing was on the money and I guess we will have to hope that when we are available to get on and look for a team one comes up.
So if we work the 8-5 and the teams come available in a different time zone then we live. If we are not able to log on and jump them we pretty much out of luck. Guess we will just do the best we can to enjoy the game and help another team.
When it gets up and running I will be doing a review for a game website. SO far what I see is the game is addicting and fun. I know the Dev's will work on issues and it can only improve.
Maybe a good idea would be to release the new teams in spirts and not all in one lump to give others a chance.

I have lost 10+ players that way. They added WAY too many teams at once.
