ROMO to WITTEN to OWENS?

I don't know, I'm still waiting for them to show up; they sure weren't in Philadelphia today.

God, that was embarassing.

That was FUCKING PATHETIC. Where the hell were the Cowboys today. At the half they should have put the Cheerleaders in. A MUST WIN game and they blew it.

Agreed. They ought to cash their last game paycheck with a ski mask on, because they stole Jerry Jones' money today.

Being a Detroit fan, I live in Michigan lol. If they take a QB or WR with the first overall pick I'll never watch them again. You could put any QB in the history of the game behind our line and he would get destroyed. Favre, Elway, Young, Montana, anyone. If they take another WR, oh wonderful, he's wide open, but oh wait......the Qb is already sacked. We need an Oline, a better secondary wouldn't hurt either, but I can see Detroit trading down to a team who's desperate for a WR or QB. Kevin Smith is a pretty good back with what he had to work with this season. Orlovsky isn't a bad QB and we've got a few talented WR's. If we fix the o-line at least we'd have a shot to win some games next season with offense.

Actually you have 2 first round picks and an early 2nd round pick. Granted you need OL but you can get your team to respectability with your draft and a few offseason acquisitions.

FAs:
Re-Sign Shaun Cody
Sign Will Allen/Jermaine Phillips as Tampa will only keep one
Sign Shawn Andrews OG from Cincinnati

Draft:
#1-Matt Stafford- You need OL but you still need a Franchise QB to hit Johnson and Stafford has a huge arm for that.
#18(from dallas)- Top OT. There are about 3 different OTs that will be worth this pick in Meredith/Smith/ and one of the top 3 that might fall.
#33-Alex Mack/Jonathan Luigs-Both are beastly centers taht can run and pass block and would help out greatly.
#65-Jonathan Casillas-Great OLB for Wisconsin. Fast and might be undersized to play SLB in a typical 4-3 but since you are running a Cover 2, and I doubt that changes due to personnel you have, he has perfect size for it.
#82(from Dallas)-Top DL available-You need more playmakers on the DL plain and simple.
#97-Top DB Available
basically you get the point. I could easily see the Lions as a 6-10 team at least next season with those moves and a good coach.

Yes they will get 0 wins, Marinelli will be fired, Cowher will be given complete control as GM of the team and they'll bring in Turner Gill to be the head coach.

I dont know what to think of this...

I love Bill Cowher and he can turn the Lions around...I just dont hope he gets stuck there

I kinda think Cowher might go for the Browns. He played for them, and started his coaching career there under Marty. He also knows the AFC North.

Cowher's already made it really clear he's not coming back next year. Maybe in 2010, but not 2009. Same for Holmgren.

As far as Detroit's new coach...may be time to call Shanahanigans.
