And if you have 50+ strength, maybe you're on to something. 122 PDs in a season is really good
I think that maybe you are onto something actually ....
my thinking is that the WRs now have so many insane moves that is going to be increasingly difficult to stop them making the catch. What might be more effective than trying to stop them altogether is to make sure that we are good at knocking the ball free immediately they have caught it.
Im pretty sure that this is classed as a PD and is coded differently to a FF.
in that case 'jackhammer" with 50 strength looks pretty good, especially as most WRs still have lowish carrying ....

I don't think STR is really going to help with PDs. He got those stats by severely outleveling the competitions WRs. The gap was so big that build didn't matter.

I'd think strength effects PDs otherwise bort wouldn't make an ability that specifically is used to get PDs but requires 50 strength

So now that we have a few sims under our belts, do we have any idea which VAs are worth the effort?

I am seriously considering my my CB's strength up to 50 and doubling up with Long Reach and Jackhammer. My thought is, is that would be a way to make a true shut down corner back.
If he doesnt get the pass deflection (and even if he does) you then immediately make the tackle, so jackhammer gets you yet another way to keep the completion from happening.

with the spd/agi that WRs have currently, it'd be better to focus on spd/agi va's 1st or you won't be able to keep up with them. afterwords however, you've got an interesting idea.

Yea its just an idea. My CB Route Jumper 3.0 has speed/agi/vision at the 68 softcap. Once he takes jumping to 48, I am considering taking str to 50. Should be interesting.

this is what i am going to try.. High Jumper and long reach. I have a soft cap on jumping right now, so lets see if this either leads to more PD or INT's, Speed is already a 90+ agility is 60+ vision is 60+ .
