I got a 3 agility 2% catch chance AEQ I'm debating about getting. If it does the same thing as intercept I'm going to get it.

No, not same thing. People, who claims to know, are saying that there are two different checks. First you check if there is an interception chance, and if there is and you make the check, then comes the catch check to see if you manage to catch it. So two checks in order to make a interception.

I would not be surprised at all if this were 100% untrue, especially if it's from people who "claim to know" since Bort is the only one that knows this type of thing.

i went to customer service with the question. This was their reply.

Hi Ilok. The % catch isn't the same thing as % intercept (because there's a better chance of a receiver catching a ball, than a defensive player making an interception. However, catching definitely can increase the chances of a CB intercepting a pass.
