I was looking over the games of an HB I'm recruiting and I noticed on one play he actually ran backwards to follow his blocks and avoid a defender:

Pretty good decision I think. If he goes between the TE and the FB, the LO isn't engaged on the FB so he gets tackled for maybe a 2 yard gain. He followed his FB and got 11 yards, so a pretty good play actually!

gotta be crazy high vision. and maybe confidence that you can pull that off?

Could have had a TD if he would haev ran to the sidelines instead..
