I've never slow built a player and i'd like to try it out on a HB. I was wondering 1st of all what I should look for when "rolling" for attributes at the beginning, and also how I should slow build him (and what that even means).

Basically i want him to be an elusive HB, but need to know the specifics of how to slow build him, and any suggestions for it.

Thanks

Tackling, kicking, and punting all 8's, with agility and speed pretty high.

i still have these questions:

2. Do you put all your SPs into that skill as soon as you get them, or do you wait until you have just enough to soft cap it (banking them all until then) and then soft cap the skill, and move on to do the same to the next skill?
3. Should i boost at the end of the season? (for example, i would boost now since this season is over xp-wise.)

Bank your SP's while training speed (or whatever attribute) until you have enough points to get it to the first soft cap

You will receive XP until the playoffs are over, but it will only be training XP. Boosting at the end of the season will give you the max amount of XP, but only if it doesn't cost you playing time (ie, you lose your starting job because the other guy boosted)

I banked my SP. Trained Spd to 25, then boosted speed to 67. I am now getting speed to 74 at level 14. Currently AGI is 27 through training. I will boost AGI to 67 when I can. He will be good next season, but won't be great until level 40 or so.. Though he will have 100 spd with eq at level 24.

That is a fast little rb you have there! Would be neat to see him against equal level competition.

That's a speed back. If he wants a true elusive, then agility needs to get to 68 w/o equipment (minimum).
