Welcome all degenerate gamblers! The MGM Grand located in beautiful Macau is pleased to announce that the early point spreads for the Goal Line Blitz Southeast Asia Pro League playoffs have been determined. Included in this playoff preview is some "expert" analysis from JT83.

(8) Hong Kong Highlanders @ (1) Louisiana Screaming Pelicans -28
The Screaming Pelicans enter the Season 7 playoffs as the second consecutive Southeast Asia AAA#2 promoted team to secure the #1 seed. In this matchup they will be going up against former AAA#2 Zeta champion the Hong Kong Highlanders. As with all 1 versus 8 seeds, the underdog will be a long shot in this one. This will be a battle between two rushing teams as LSP average 275 rushing yards per game while the Highlanders average 239. Buckle up that chin strap!
The pick: Hong Kong Highlanders+28

(7) Hong Kong Hustlers vs. (2) NACJAC-23.5
This is an odd game as NACJAC is heavily favored despite the fact that the Hustlers dismantled them 9-35 earlier in the season. However, it cannot be ignored that NACJAC has been absolutely on fire recently and has never missed a championship game in four seasons.
The pick: NACJAC-23.5

(6) Bangkok Tweetys vs. (2) Taiwan Blood Pandas-21
The longtime Southeast Asia Pro veterans square off against last season's #1 seed the Taiwan Blood Pandas. The Tweetys have been competitive and have won the games they were supposed to, but they have yet to notch up a truly impressive win. They will need a little of luck on their side to emerge victorious against a Blood Panda team riding a six game winning streak.
The pick: Bangkok Tweetys+21

(4) Ho Chi Minh Hot Mamas vs. (3) Krakatoan Red Warriors+3
Long time rivals square off again in the spotlight and pressure cooker that is the playoffs. The Red Warriors have historically struggled against the Hot Mamas and have been eliminated from the playoffs by them before. However, this season the Warriors crushed the Mamas 45-21. As the line indicates, this game can go either way for two very evenly matched teams. I give a small odds advantage to the Hot Mamas because of their depth.
The pick: Krakatoan Red Warriors+3

NACJAC is a great team, but to cover a 28 point spread on a team that beat them 35-9 earlier in the season seems a bit crazy. None the less game plans are changed all around...good luck to everyone!

I'm flattered by the -23.5. It'll be hard to get that, but we'll see what we can do. The one thing I do want to note is, I believe Tweety's have always been the most underated team of the ... sigh, I guess we're the Garuda Conference (I still can't get used to called it that). They always kick ass in playoffs, even when others don't expect them to. Tare predicted we would meet them each time. I thought he was crazy, but I ate my words the first season in SEA pro, the 2nd season, I expected them too. Pandas are one hell of a team, so it'll be a matchup I'll be looking foward to.

If I was a betting man, I would have bet on you guys in the spread too. Unfortunately I have a huge sports betting problem and am now restricted to make any wagers greater than 20 dollars on anyone game (long story).

I feel your pain. My gambling woes this season were documented on the TBP forums haha! Fucking Chargers/Jaguars.

Hustlers/Highlanders, bravo despite the tough loss today. You guys definitely deserved more respect than I gave you. What a performance by both of you guys!
