do you think having blocking between 45-50 will be adequate for a blocking/receiving fb

yes I have a level 37 fb with 47 blocking with 27 pancakes on the season. That is 4th on my team. He averages about 20 less plays than the guys above him and he also plays special teams...

Get your strength up and keep blocking at that level. The only reason I am soft capping it is to raise the green bars to make the newbs give him his credit.

oh yeah get some lead blocking sa

If I were you I would consolidate all of your equipment onto strength. Train speed/agility on intense and put all of your level up points into strength.

At the bare minimum, cap blocking at 49 IMHO. Blocking isn't a primary skill for a FB (no matter their build), but it is important to have at a decent level.

I have 50 pancakes this season (2nd on the team)... as HB2, FB2 and KRS(2). My FB has ~52 blocking, soft capped with level ups only. Last season as the only FB on the team, I had 161 pancakes and was #5 or so in the league.

Not saying that pancakes are a good measure of blocking ability or anything, but it's one of the only things we have to go off of.

I agree. Soft cap it, but is a waste of SP to put any more into it.

I think it is a wast to pt any SP into blocking. I am fourth in my league (counting Linemen) in pancakes with 119 (FB Love TRAIN) and the first thing I did was double cap my strength. YOu don't need to hold your block for more than a second AT MOST before the HB gets by you. Blocking has nothing to do with pancakes, but agility and strength does. How else can you explain 119 pancakes in a season.

Its better to focus on agility than blocking. If I could I would go back and take back all the points I put in blocking on my first FB.
