I once had a case where it was not calling a play at all, and I couldn't figure out why.
Finally, I noticed this play had a 0 in one of the scores boxes in the inputs.
As a result, it would never call that play unless we were tied. And since this play was a major run play, it would fall through down to one of my generic defenses I put at the end as kind of a catch all. For my defensive AI's, I like to leave score and time out of the equation, ensure all those boxes are blanked, except for 2 min drill stuff.
