You are absolutely right. When I got my team it was full of lvl 25 cpu players.......and a cool 1 million in the bank. Enough to pay salaries for 4 maybe 5 games.


Actually what he's doing is very smart and the only way a team can compete in the USA structure. Unless they start having the BBB leagues stay capped at 13; there is no way a new team can build a team and a stadium at the same time; along with being competitive. You have to take a losing season in the beginning to survive.

When my friend started up his team in BBB 5 he wanted to make a Slow Build team and having those low level players are the only way we were able to build the stadium. The first season we built most of the bottom sections and this season we should expand it even further. However, this was before you got a gutted stadium and two sections were already built.

The team I DC for in BBB 9 can't compete because they can't afford to pay their players. Of course there were a few bad moves on the owners part, but basically to survive in USA BBB; you have to lose that first season with as little payroll as possible.

Secondly when did you get your team. How much money did you get when you had your team? Was it a new team or a sold back team? See all these go into play when building a team. End of season 3 with 500000 and was a sold back team with a basic stadium. And look at us right now and we never wasted a entire season losing 200 to 0. We were 8/8 second season and now #2 soon to be #1 in the division. We had 3 live players when we started and and had 0 sometime season 4. Yes you can do whatever you want with your team it"s just IMO that it sucks to have so many teams that are so mismatched in the division and curious that you just sat there and got killed all year long and never signed any players. We might have got a extra 500 from support at the beginning and still have have a hard time with the size of our stadium but we did it! You are obviously just building you stadium and saving $$ and will have a better stadium when you need it but its hard to keep guys active when 3/4 of the games are total blowouts.

Thank realignment for that. Plenty of teams were losing to blowouts before, but they were spread through the leagues so it was just a few games here and there. BBB was sacrificed for the rest of GLB. It's not going to get better until you get promoted.

Apparently the BBB leagues were never designed to house teams that could sell out a 70,000 seat stadium at x2 the suggested price, or support teams that had overall rankings of 50+

Part of what caused a lot of the trouble was not having a broad range of levels. All teams were recruiting the same players at the start. When lvl 30 was the highest, every team from pro to bbb had the same levels of players. Now it's starting to spread out some and in a few seasons level 36 players will have no business in pro and top level FAs will laugh at an offer from a team lower than AAA.

If they impose limits on income before they get more seasons in, there will be a lot of higher level players who can't get a job because the teams they're on now won't be able to afford them. Growing pains... it's tricky stuff.

I also think that as long as they don't do anything to stop it the slow build trend is the future for new teams, if for no other reason than the fact that it allows level 1-5 players to play on human teams. D leagues are boring as hell. More players will slow build to be on a human team and then more teams will do it when the slow builders are kicking the crap out of those that don't.

First off if you read the whole thread it was stated by me that I was mistaken on the fact you were getting a team with that stadium as opposed to building it and losing it but since you must be like 10 years old to call me a cunt face I will not be responding to this stupid thread anymore so you win It is funny that you guys think someone should not have a opinion on things that trickle down and really do effect our team but being the cunt face I am I will just say you guys can kiss my ass if you think that I wont say whatever the fuck I want

We lost a lot of key players and then are DC left...im still a GM on the team so i can just keep looking and checkin up on what hes up to..but once that team gets rollin agian im going back to salem
