My team has given up the 7th most passing yards and the 5th most passing TDs in my conference. We have decent builds, certainly good enough that I know it is not the issue.

I have tried different settings close/aggresive, close/medium aggressive, close/medium and not much changes. We get good pressure, 6th in the league in both hurries and sacks.

On our defensive AI, we blitz alot combined with almost all Cover 1 and Cover 0. All man coverage, with pass focus on some situations.

I do think part of the issue is that we do blitz alot and don't have many double teams in coverage. I try to have my FS back much more often than my SS.

Is cutting back on the blitzes going to help me that much? If anyone has ideas, I'd really appreciate it.

You are playing cover 0 and your CBs aren't shutdown corners that are good enough to shoulder the responsibility you've given them. In normal football, you have a Free Safety in the backfield, acting as the last-man-standing on defence. His job is to prevent completions like that from becoming TDs.

Was the CB that got burned in that play on Close/Aggressive?

That can be suicide if you're running cover 0. You're telling the CB to go for the INT whether he has help over the top or not. And in that play, it looks like he did just that - missed, and there was no safety lingering back to keep that missed try at an INT from turning into 6 for the opposition.

You got to get there with your blitz. If you want to keep running that coverage. You'd better get to the QB.
