Thanks. I wish after all your talk you would have at least tried to win. After falling 27 points behind, and then using a run out the clock strategy to try to keep the score close but giving up any chance to win, I just have to wonder what it is you guys care about. Apparently from your comment your whole strategy was just to keep the score close by running the ball and running clock while down 3-4 TD's. Who can I credit with that brilliant strategy? Someone in particular or the GM"s on your team as a whole?

Wow, typical class post by you Sly. Our goal is to win each and every game, not keep it close but I guess I would expect nothing less from you. Falling behind in the first half shouldn't mean abandon your game plan and go to panic mode. With this game we proved that you can not stop the run so now a few tweaks here and there and our playoff game should be much better...

I'll tell ya what. I really didn't gameplan for your team the first time just put an old strategy in that I knew would win. You ran the entire game and scored 17 points. Actually all of those points came after you got 3-4 TD's behind and we started playing a softer defense. You tried to pass and threw 2 picks in 13 attempts. Meanwhile we scored at will until we just started running out the clock with our backups in the 2nd half, and even then we easily kept our lead. How about I recognize that your team is run by a bunch of clowns who run out the clock while down 24 points in the 4th quarter and I don't bother to gameplan for your team next time either and we win just as easily? The truth is we can throw on you, run on you, or do a mixed attack plus any reasonable defense and you clowns GM'ing that team wouldn't be able to win. Maybe next time we'll just throw every play and beat you by 100 points since as was obvious in our game your team has no pass defense? Of course you couldn't stop our pass or our run or do anything yourself until we got up by 27 points and switched our strategy for the last 2 minutes of the first half and for the 2nd half and started playing backups.

In summary, no class Sly...

from what I have read of the back and forth between you two, I have seen a lot of name calling coming from rissob and alot of in depth analysis from Sly

Like it or not, what he is saying makes sense and you got out strategized in this one. Might want to take it out on those who make up your gameplan as opposed to the one who exposed your flaws and is trying to tell you what you need to fix

It is called winning with class, I came right out and said they were the better team and outplayed us at every level of the game (see the first post). I am confident in my strategies as an OC and if they are in doubt one only needs to look at my own team who currently owns one of the longest winning streaks in GLB. Our plan was to pound the ball and limit our turnovers (we did half of that)...At no point did I ever expect to be down by that much, but truth be told I am glad these mistakes were made yesterday and not in the conference finals because we will be better for it...Take the win and enjoy it with class if that is possible!

Um...the words Corpus Christi was the "better team" don't appear in your first post
...the words Corpus Christi "outplayed us at every level of the game" don't appear in your first post

Nothing like these words appear. Every time you open your mouth I have to wonder what reality you're living in now because there are a constant stream of lies, and liars deserve what they get.

Second, you go on and on about your abilities, which you have all season, yet you don't know how to write simple logic in the AI to adjust your game plan when you're 3 or 4 TD's behind. Maybe if you didn't brag on yourself at every opportunity I'd be more forgiving of this sort of stupidity but here you are again saying:

Yea, your strategies are SERIOUSLY in doubt and instead of looking at some Africa league team that plays weak competition and has someone else GM'ing it I'm looking at what YOU did - let's review (from my post on another thread):

But I was surprised that your team was willing to settle for a strategy like that since it shows your team was willing to concede the loss!?? Even though you were going to lose anyway I still will never understand how an undefeated team's leadership gets so psyched out that they put in a strategy to help the other team run out the clock when they are 24 points behind in the 4th quarter!"

What else can I say Sly, your team beat us and the good thing is that we have time to get better for the rematch in the conference finals. Big mistake not having the 2nd Quarter AI set up correctly and that has been changed. Our 4th quarter AI had it set with 450 seconds to go before we go all out passing, so that needs to be tweaked. As far as my team, anytime you want a friendly scrimmage send me a challenge or PM and we can get it done. I do the offense myself for the Cripplers, Bullets and Raiders so trust me there are no GM's doing my job. I'll even spot you 21 points if you want to play my own team!

I told you I'd give you a scrimmage if you followed through on your promise to win this past game. Since you failed to win, and have been exposed as a poser, you don't get any scrimmage. Thus the lesson endeth.

It is only weak Africa remember! I am getting bored with the back and forth, so the offer is there for any time you want to play. Great game all around by your team and I look forward to the rematch.

This was discussed prior to the game we just played. At the time we both agreed that if you backed up your claim that you would win this game we just played, it would show your team is worth scrimmaging and I would agree to scrimmage. But if you lost it would show you are a poser, not worth scrimmaging.

What I expected, all talk but when the challenge is put there the cowardly lion act comes into play. That is fine, the poser will go and add another title to his team as he moves to the Pro Leagues! Best of luck...

You already lost the challenge. You said, based on your claimed expertise, that Rainham would defeat us. You not only lost you demonstrated your tactics were naive and stupid. There's nothing else that needs to be proved.
