Who thinks relegation would work in the NFL like is does in football (Soccer)?

You'd need a competitive secondary league first, then you'd have to convince the current NFL team businesses to be relegated as to why their relegation is justified. I'm more worried about the latter, mainly cuz NFL today is mostly business and a relegation would cost a team quite a lot. So in short, I don't think relegation would work in NFL as it is today.
It does work very nice in soccer though, makes teams still play competitive even with a losing record at the end of the season. Love the premier league for that.
