It's possible since there's so many things that attack morale (or are supposed to) that say they make the target easier to tackle. But does it actually work that way? Nobody knows for sure.

In my conclusion, possibly. I made a RB for the D-leagues who had soft-capped Stamina, Vision, and Confidence ONLY (no training/points in Speed/Agi/Strength/Carrying) and he broke over 150 tackles in 10 games.

I'd cap confidence before carrying for my power back tbh. Supposed to make you play better all-around.

I've noticed (in both my running backs) close to a 30% increase in breaks per carry by adding 10 points to confidence and no other changes. Competition is fairly similar across the games, and I removed the blowsouts from the equation for my lvl 36.

I think confidence helps decrease the number of fumbles whereas strength and agility enhance breaking tackles from my experience.

Higher confidence prevents reductions in Agility and Strength due to Morale loss.

From this you can conclude that Confidence is directly proportional to your production over a number of carries, expressed more clearly the higher the number of carries.

From my limited knowledge of linebackers, confidence should negate whatever points the opposing defense has used for Aura of intimidation and other such morale deflating things. So therefore, more points in confidence should make each defensive player worse by whatever points they put into those SA's.

And no, I have no experiments or whatnot to back that up, just an educated guess.
