HINT: You only need 34 catching to put up 1800+ yards.

Yes maybe so but it's not a for sure thing that happens. It also depends on the QB to make the throw, the OL to block long enough for the throw, the DB to give you the chance to catch a ball and so many other factors

A dual threat HB does need high speed. I'm not comparing GLB to the NFL, but notice how the top dual threats in the NFL tend to be fast, such as Reggie Bush or previously Marshall Faulk.

My HB is used as a dual threat HB and if he didn't have high speed he wouldn't be able to repeatedly make plays like these:

Also, check out DMP , I'm quite sure he has high speed:

I am building a sort of powerback/pass catcher out of the backfield. Right now, I'm focusing the SP's on strength, carrying and speed, while I train vision and agility. When I reach 1st soft cap on strength, I'm gonna put some points on catching. Right now in the D-league, he's had a pretty good year of rushing, but not so much of receiving, because he has dropped a lot of passes. Check him out and give comments!

Making a Dual Threat back is very doable. The owner of the team mine is on wanted to try it out this season, so I've been training catching all season. Right now it's around 32. I wouldn't waste any points in it though. Speed is definitely key. As the HB, you're going to end up with a lot of favorable matchups on D. Usually a LB or a SS will be on you. A lot of the time, defenses like to blitz the LBs to try and stuff the gaps, leaving nobody in man coverage on the HB. I've gotten touchdowns like this a few times this season.

It really depends on the person who's calling the plays on your offense whether or not you will be a successful receiver.

I mean both will do good in certain areas but the point of a dual threat back is to be able to run the ball and if that doesnt work go out into the flats or be able to go out for a flag or post route.

That's ridiculous.

Bad information.
