The is my first time doing this so don't tear me down to bad, just been boring in here so hoping to keep things going.

Burleson vs Sioux Falls – Burlson will be the last team with a winning record that the Storm will face before the playoffs. Burleson is sitting in 7th place trying to hold onto a playoff spot with games against the 6th place Southside Spartans and 3rd place Death Valley Shadowblades. Storm damage Burleson 84-6

Southside vs Savannah – Southside 7-4 facing off against the Lions at 6-5 who are hoping to move up from the 9th spot to sneak into the playoffs. The Lions started the season 6-2 but have been on a 3 game losing streak, while the Spartans have been hot as of late with 6 wins in a row. Spartans win 42- 17

Uncle Sams vs Las Vegas – Poor Las Vegas, things don’t get easier this week and Uncle Sams crushes any hope the Miscreants have. 255-0

Chicago Beasts vs San Diego – The battle of the 2-9’s fitting for bragging rights! Neither team sticks out as a clear winner here so this could be the most evenly matched game in the west this week. Surf Dawgs squeak by the Beasts 31-27

Rocky Mountain vs Midwest - Rocky Mountain was looking at a sweep of the West until the where upset by Sioux Falls, and will finish out the season at 14-2. The Thunder roll 227-10

Dixie vs Allen East – After there first win of the season over Las Vegas Dixie Normus look to start a streak of wins against the Mustangs. Both teams have had a tough first season here in the West but are working hard to improve. Mustangs kick Dixie where is counts, 130 - 17

Death Valley vs Ivalice – Ivalice has done well this season and is holding on to the 8th spot in the West for but faces the mighty Shadowblades this week who will likely win out the season, then games against Uncle Sams and Rocky Mountain to end the season. Maybe tough to hold that spot, Shadowblades slice the Tacticianers 70 - 14

Texas Bigga Bois vs. Chicago Maroons – After tasting victory for the second time 2 weeks ago the Bigga Bois won’t again this season, and face the Maroons this week. The Maroons are sitting in 5th place with only 2 tough games left and will at the worst finish 10-6 which would get them into the post season dance. Maroons roll 227-10

That was a low blow pal. We are the Shadowblades. We never cheated the system to try and win a championship.

And now we're the mighty Shadowblades? While it's nice that we could be considered equal to that adjective, I still have to defer that mantle to a couple other teams at the top of our conference, not to mention the powerhouses over in the East.
As for the sweep to end the season ... it would definitely be nice, but there are several teams left, notably Southside, who might have something to say about that.

Nice write ups though! (well, outside of that Vikings reference, that is)

Thanks, and your right Southside will give could give you a game but my guess is you still win out. :-) Top 4 in the west are locked.

GG Ivalice Tacticianers the game was a ton closer than the score. I just think the punt return was what helped us out, and got us over that hump. Again I say GG Ivalice Tacticianers

I'm just hoping to make it interesting. I think we're still a season away from being able to compete with the top tier of the conference. We're only a season removed from being a gutted 2 win team. I do have some very well built players coming in for next season though .

Season 2 we were a gutted 1 win team, who took the long road to becoming a solid team. Season 3 was the first season we started to rebuild after that we had 4 wins...

How nice would it have been to have the current promotion/relegation plan in place back then? Even though we were a much better team in Season 4, it didn't count in the record book because there were still so many monsters roaming the West.

The slacker police are here wondering why there's no week 13 picks. I told the officers to talk to the Eastern dudes.

Bad Crack habit, huh. You know you go on a binge and everything else is gone from life, but I wouldn't know about these things as I've never done crack.. Now coke on the other hand, Work more OT to do more coke, do more coke to work more OT. It's a never ending cycle, or it was, years ago.
