2 Points a tackle, see thats what I mean, high points for tackles. Just pick all guys who are goingto amass 100+ tackles. Thats what I would do. Most leagues give hihg points for tackles. If you think about it, a pick should be worth a least 10 in that league then. Deltha would have a hard hard time keeping up with Julian Peterson, Keith Bullocks, or Brian Urlacher. Thats why I said, depends on the points given. Mario Williams with all his 16 sacks last season would get 64 whole points plus whatever he had for tackles. I think he had 60ish. So 120 + 64 is only 194 points. Thats way less then 100+ tackles. But, which is more valuable? Depends on the maker of the league. IDP's can be very fruitful, but depends on what ya like. I try to play D leagues, because I find the D side much more fun. But, try to fill a league of all D. LOL. Even 8 teams is hard to fill with owners.

Agree. FF, Safeties, FR, Int, sacks, should all be worth 4 times a tackle.

If you use real players for some of the game stats, for Linebackers, I'd go with Lamar Woodley, and James Harrison of the Steelers. Actually I'd go with the whole Linebacker corps of the Steelers. I'd put their Four against any other team's linebackers. Of course, I watch them play every Sunday. Also ever since coming back from injury last year(having his spleen removed), Free Safety Ryan Clark has been impressive. I kinda hope he gets to tee off on TO this week, like he got Wes Welker.
Hines Ward is a good pick for WR. He's steady, and gets the job done. And, as a plus, he rarely drops a pass.

Blasphemy, sir! You know you never root against your team owner's team!
I'm just kidding, Murray. Ward is actually my other fantasy WR. And I'm stuck with Dallas Clark at TE because I couldn't get Jason Witten's owner to budge on him.
Let's see, that makes my starting lineup for this week's playoff game:
QB: Tony Romo
RB: Thomas Jones
RB: Leon Washington
RB: Brian Westbrook
WR: Eddie Royal
WR: Hines Ward
TE: Dallas Clark
K: Neil Rackers (other K is Nick Folk, but we're playing the Steelers)
DE: Mathias Kiwanuka
DE: Adawale Ogunleye
LB: Michael Boley
LB: Kirk Morrison
CB: Cortland Finnegan
CB: Charles Tillman
-------------------------------------------
Pretty fair lineup, if I do say so. And I just did say so.

Apparently off to a good start, with Kirk Morrison having 12 tackles and an assist (1 point), giving me a head start of 23 points. Pretty darn good production for a linebacker.

Should be 25 points, no?
Regardless, IMO that is way too many points off a decent player playing in a crappy game, you know. Good analysis by you, but you are "rewarding" a player for being on a shitty team. I call it the "Ocho Cinco syndrome".

Misspoke, it was 11 tackles and an assist. I'm using pretty much the ONLY good player on that side of the ball for the Raiders. Hey, don't blame me, they came up with the scoring rules, I'm just the one taking full advantage of it.
