he'll get pancaked on runs every time... agility is fairly effective in stopping that when strength is absent

no, he won't. And if he does he'll still get up and make the tackle anyway.

boomer82, can you take a look at my build?
our builds aren't really that different, but my DE is not producing

Is confidence the key here?

Very interesting...surprised you aren't more productive.

I would guess the differences in strength and agility play more of a role than the differences in confidence, vision, jumping and blocking....but who knows?

NO the only key is to get off that loser of a team you're on. you probably play with low moral a lot. then get on a winning team with a good d.t. next to you to absorb some blockers.

For the team you're on, absolutely. I really think that, at your level, your confidence should be at LEAST 30 no matter how good of a team you play on, but I think 35-36 is where you should aim for. Confidence doesn't need to be the equal of your level but it shouldn't be far off.

Jumping to 30 should also be a priority. I don't have direct comparison links to prove it but since I increased my jumping I've seen a nice widening of my "tackle radius". Many times when I make a tackle or sack I'm the 2nd or 3rd closest player to the QB/RB.

Vision to the soft cap as well. Some people don't think it's very important but I think it's absolutely worth getting to the 2:1 cap especially with the level of First Step you have.

If strength isn't 2:1 capped, get it there. Definitely worth it imo.
