He's not too high a level, right now the way I see it it's not to late if I'm seriously screwing up.

Should I be worried about the low strength? Or the complete neglect of speed recently? The way I see it, agility is far more important than both of those, given if you can properly move toward the guy you really don't need to be that fast, and if he's on the other side then you've already failed. It was at one point a coverage build but I'm switching to a, honestly, I'm not too sure anymore, I'm guess I'm just attempting to be reliable, likely to deflect passes but not to intercept, likely to make tackles but not to force fumbles or sack the QB anytime soon.. a build that can ensure things don't get too bad, I guess. Any suggestions?

soft cap one of your major stats first..i would suggest agility probably since it is already the highest so you could do it the quickest, then you should softcap speed...then vision etc etc etc

easy on the jumping for now.
try some speed... lots and lots of it
i dont know of a single WR or HB nearly that slow at that level so good luck trying to get to them

I would also along with what spekel and UMRocks said place all my equip into speed...just my opinion though.

Every SS needs speed, agility, and vision. I think you should get all 3 up to 68 ASAP and put all of your equipment into speed before you do anything else. Others may tell you that 60 for each is fine, or else some other similar mix. Build your player and watch the games to see what happens as you add points. If you concentrate on one skill at a time you will be able to see what effect adding to an attribute has on your performance. This is key to building. It's good to get advice, but if you are going to play why not figure it out for yourself instead of doing what someone else suggests.

I would cap Sp/vis/agl in that order. Agility is probably the stat that will make the biggest impact for your player but it's only a minor stat so you won't benifit as much by capping it early.

Much farther down the road don't underestimate jumping, you'll be making a lot of solo open field tackles and jumping will give you a signifigant increase.
