for my receiving tight end i plan on soft capping catching first, then either vision or strength because they are primary skills, but which one would be better for a receiving TE?

Honestly, I ignored vision and strength until fairly recently, opting for speed and agility for my TE. It seems like I'm getting more out of vision, so I'd go that route.

yea and you wanna not do that cus speed and agility get such a low lvl up bonus right? do you think its worth a full soft cap or just like around 30?

I think with TEs you should soft cap catching, vision and strenth... and blocking if you can. You get .5 per level which makes softcapping a lot more valuable than on other positions where you only get .33 per level.

But if all you really care about is receiving, ignore blocking and focus on speed/agility. You really don't need your catching much higher than the soft cap.

And stay away from SAs until you're well into the 20s.

okay thanks. what all does vision do for a tight end? help with catching a little bit and help see who to block?

It seems to help with "reaction time" across all positions. It's important for receiving, and knowing where to run once he has the ball. It's also good for blocking as they'll know who and where to block.
