In a new development, highly touted linebacker Matt Smyth has signed a one-year contract with the East Euthanasia Earls of the Eastern Europe Pro League. He will be making $1400 per day with an $18000 signing bonus. Smyth, coming from the USC program, set several school records, including sacks and tackles in a season.
