You need speed to do anything.
A WR with 40 speed, regardless of his other stats, will be a piece of shit.

I don't care what production stats you show me, if a player's catching is so high they always get thrown to but every attempt they make is under tight coverage, I wouldn't want him playing on my team. He may catch the ball, but even looking at his slow ass is a risk.

I don't totally disagree with you. 40 speed for a WR would be silly. When I talk about speed being overrated, I'm talking about 90+ speed. I think getting open has alot to do with agility/quick cut/route run. And when you are not open, being able to out jump the corner to get the catch.

and he is only the second leading receiver on the team..... trust me speed is not overrated

You also have 6 in quick cut. I'm sure that helps get you open as well as your speed.
