NOt really interior linemen have to go against double teams A lot,against very high str guards and centers. You need str first, speed later.

Are there any really good DTs with low str out there? I haven't really seen it.

negative vanilla has high str

Agility will help DTs make tackles because they can get off blocks. Having 90 str and 40 agility is not going to do a lot against a good running team. 80 of both will work better, you can hold your ground and break blocks and make tackles.

Yeah, my DT has pretty good str too and he has done well. I just keep hearing people talk about high speed/high agility low str DTs but I've never seen a good one.

edit: Pretty good str and over 90 agility I mean.

I just switched equipment around again. Looking at close to 70 str. close to 60 speed and 80 agility now. We are about to come up on some tough teams after this next game. I want to see if he does any better. His speed is 58 right now. When he levels his str will go up to 70 and I will put 2 in speed to get it to 60, and his agility will be 80.
I want to see how he plays like that. He gets a lot of hurries, and he is a force in the run game. With 12 more speed I am hoping he can turn some of those hurries into sacks, and still be a good run game guy.

Put all of your equipment that you now have in Strength into Speed for a game or two. See what happens, then.
