Some reshuffling in the middle of the pack and a minor fall for Paris, but mainly things remain the same in this week's rankings.
1 (1) Black Watch (6-1)
Black Watch remain on top after disposing of Paris Philarmonic in the Alpha game of the week. A balanced offensive performance and some punishing run D propels BW's status as Alpha championship contenders even higher. If they can put away the Minotaurs next week we could see them go unbeaten for the remainder of the season.
2 (3) London Minotaurs (6-1)
London upped their winning streak to 5 with their 2nd victory in a row over a so-called elite Alpha side. The Minotaurs are getting it done on both sides of the ball and they made Woodridge look distinctly ordinary as they held them to under 200 total yards.
3 (4) London Monarchs (6-1)
The Monarchs regain a place in the rankings after demolishing the Mercs. They held E-City to 1 yard per carry from 33 rushes but they're still giving up big yardage against the pass. That won't matter though if they can keep putting up such gaudy offensive numbers.
4 (2) Paris Philarmonic (5-2)
The Phillies fail to claim top spot, coming off second best against Black Watch. They get their'bye week' when they play Toledo next.
5 (5) Dinas Mawddwy Red Bandits (5-2)
The Red Bandits took care of business against FTA with 20 unanswered points throughout the 2nd and 3rd quarters putting paid to any thoughts of an upset for the Aggies. They now face off against the ever-improving Berlin in one of next week's more intriguing matchups.
6 (6) Wembley Warriors (5-2)
Wembley finally got a chance to get things going offensively and they were in good form defensively, forcing 6 turnovers in the process. They'll hope to continue in this fashion against Chicago Rocks.
7 (8) Berlin Blitzkrieg (3-4)
They continue their climb up the rankings, eking out the win against AWC off the back of their strong running game. They can shake things up amongst the sides towards the top if they manage to beat Dinas.
8 (9) Stuttgart Nighthawks (4-3)
An absolutely dominant performance on the ground from Stuttgart led them to victory over Lake Charles, moving them back over .500, although it's unlikely it'll stay that way with a tough 3-game stretch coming up.
9 (7) Woodridge Lumberjacks (3-4)
How the mighty have fallen. Is this the point at which the Lumberjacks no longer belong amongst the Alpha elite. The fact that they haven't beaten a team with a winning record so far would suggest so...
10 (11) Chicago Rocks (3-4)
Chicago continue to erase the memories of their week 5 embarassment with a stat padding exercise.
11 (10) Fightin' Texas Aggies (2-5)
High pre-season expectations are a distant memory for FTA as they fail to make any sort of statement against a higher ranked team.
12 (12) Aberdeen Wrecking Crew (1-6)
AWC continue to be an 'almost-team' losing by a touchdown or less for the 4th time this season. Look for them to try and shake that tag when they face LCWD next.
13 (13) E- City Mercenaries (2-5)
The Mercs are destroyed for the 2nd time in 3 games and only remain above Lake Charles due to their victory over them last week.
14 (14) Lake Charles Who Dats (1-6)
Things aren't looking good for Lake Charles as they lose their 6th in a row.
15 (15) Carthage Army of Darkness (1-6)
Normal service is resumed as they go down to the Warriors.
16 (16) Toledo Swords (0-7)
