1. Florida 5-0. Pounded an undefeated Thundertown team and have shown no signs of let up. They have a huge game against Reno this week and the results will likely determine who is #1 next week.

2. Reno 4-1. Completely bounced back from their week one defeat, and have scored 100+ in their last 3 contests. They playt host to the #1 ranked Beachdogs in what is the best game so far this year and look to move into the top spot if they can win.

3. Rochester 5-0. Though undefeated, they played abysmally against the Bronx and questions arise as to whether this team is the overachieving juggernaut from last season, or a team that has grown complacent and is slipping back down the ladder into the middle of the pack.

4. Yancy Street 4-1. Yancy continues to crush the league bottom feeders underfoot, and they won't have a legitimate test of their abilities until they play Reno. They still are looking strong and bound for a playoff contest in Devils Stadium.

5.Bronx 2-3. Though with a losing record, Bronx has lost to the elite from both conferences and crushed the rest of the competition. The inspired effort against Rochester suggests that they will easily be a playoff team, and could be a spoiler when the playoffs start.

6. Teikoku 2-3. Another team cracking the top 8 with a losing record. Much like Bronx their losses have come against the elite from both conferences. Though not in the same league yet as those elite, the Alexanders are capable of running the table against virtually everybody else. Expect the 5th playoff seed to be a battle between them and Bronx.

7. Port Moody 3-2. A tough loss to the Alexander's drops them down in the rankings. The results of their next 5 games before their contest with Reno is going to go a long way in deciding where this team belongs in the conference. Are they the promising upstarts, or the team that flopped against the Alexander's?

8. Thundertown 4-1. A drubbing by top ranked Florida plummets this team down the charts. The next 5 weeks could drop this team down to 5-5 and out of the top 8 unless they prove that they are able to step up to the competition.

Still in the playoff hunt(no order):

Niagara
Atlanta
Victoria
Orlando

These teams have all shown flashes of promise, but need to win the winnable games consistently to prove they belong in the postseason.

Is Al Davis running your team:

Grumpy Knights
Emmaus
Hartford
Orleans

These teams will be hard pressed to win any games except the games they play against each other. The best they can hope for this season is continue to grow and learn and come on strong in season 7.

Game of the Week:

#1Florida at #2Reno

A clash of the titans, as the top 2 teams in the conference battle for supremacy. The winner of this game will put one of these teams as the clear front runner for the conference crown.

Prediction: Both teams have played great thus far. Florida has a tendency to play poorly when it plays great competition, and after last season's 5-0 start they went 4-7 in their last 11 and were handled in the playoffs. Close game......but Reno wins 37-31.
