OK, playing M2M coverage. close/med int.
Am Ijust getting beat?
The deep basic pass coverage was 25%.
Would settingit to 35% chnge these passes?

Looking for a little help - last year my Cb's would shut anything down that tried this crap. This year we are not loosing but, giving up thee deep passes.

I just moved all cb gear (on three CB's) to speed (where as I had +4 agility piece).

most speed around 82-86 agility 52-56.

Pump Fake QB SA, Vision is where your CB's are getting beat.

Your also playing cover 0, if you can't generate pressure playing cover 0 your going to give up big plays, thats the nature of that beast.

Would playing med coverage help or give up way to many passes.
I just moved +5 equip to vision putting me above 60. Need to get t 70!

Honestly I would keep all of your equipment in speed, and just switch to a cover 2.

Yeah, but my vision for a CB was low...

We do well, getting to the QB. It is just these couple plays. Granted the rest of the time we get hurries, sacks and PD's - but i'm just greedy as I want NO deep bomb getting past me.

Am I just asking too much?

P.S. I just bought extra equip so, I can switch back and forth.

Yea, you're just asking too much. Every defense has holes, you just have to pick which ones you feel comfortable living with.

If you're going to go Cover 0, you have to get pressure or your DBs are on islands and will get beat from time to time.

If you play Cover 2, you won't have as many available bodies to get pressure, but you will rarely get beat deep. An added benefit is if your CBs are set to "Go for int with help over the top" then you will get more ints/pds.

A lot of people don't like Cover 1 because the FS is rendered useless on most plays, but I prefer it most of the time. I would rather be super aggressive with 10 guys and have the Safety back there just in case than have 11 guys with no deep protection or lack of aggressiveness with 2 deep. You may want to try Cover 1 based on your criteria.

As much as I hate to help Sparta, he's right. Your Cover 0 opens you up if you are playing against a speedy WR. I wouldn't overload the line so much on the Pro Set since you have to worry about the TE Sail and Post Corner pass plays. Just keeping that FS back would probably clear up some of your issues.

That first play your CB just tipped it to him, not much you can do about that - he was in the right place at the right time and went for the ball.

Looks to me like he went for the pick on the 3rd one. He stopped as soon as the ball went in the air so it obviously wasn't a pump fake. My guess is that is Coverage Style was set to Aggressive. Any thoughts?

If I had the answer to this our D wouldn't get beat like it does. I do honestly think that it has a lot to do with vision. If your DB's vision is low then close plays will generally go the the WR. On a side note glad to see some highlight from that ass kicking you gave us that was a positive.
