My lvl33 TE had alot of drops up until lvl 24 or so...I soft capped vision and no more drops

My w.r. has 50 vision and still drops. 7 drops in 12 games aint bad though I guess. Vision won't completely solve the problem.

I had a my str nearly capped on a guy with vision capped and still got drops (not a ton, but one every 3rd game or so) on a guy I retired. Strength does factor into it, but not enough to really talk about. There was a possession guy on a team I used to be on that had 61 catching, 40 str, 48 vision, and 40 jumping and he still had 6-8 drops a year. The really crappy part was that once a year, he'd have a game where he'd drop 2. His confidence was 30.

After you get your catching to the cap, I think they just happen occasionally.
