I haven't said anything publicly, but I've not been looking forward to your promotion since about mid last season (from a having to gameplan perspective). I've also said to FDC and on the private PPP forum that I think you guys are one of the best two teams in the conference (and no I don't think we're the other). FWIW.

i have to agree with that sentiment...you guys have the sickest dline i have ever seen or faced. after seeing you guys last year and seeing how you guys shut us down again this year, i don't know of a better defense out there.

great game fire and ice...we exacted a small amount of revenge for knocking us out of the playoffs last season...just hope we don't have to face you in the playoffs again this year.

and of course, a great write up. i look for the write up almost as eagerly as i wait for the game results!

Berlin pretty much has the best FS and SS combo in the history of GLB. That's obviously why we win.



Seriously, though -- these are some good games, guys.

Just an update: The new update WILL be out tomorrow, just might be closer to 4pm pacific based on my morning schedule.

We do that every second year only, don't worry!

Just had a look back to reminise:

Season 2 we lost to GDR, Panthers & Copenhagen in regular and beat them all in playoffs.

Season 3 We didn't make playoffs and thus didn't lose to anyone in the playoffs ()

Season 4 London, PPP & Philly all beat us in eth regular season and we got back at London & Philly only for PPP to lucksack the final! ()

Season 5 Ravens, Lyon & Ballers all beat us regular season and we did a repeat of S.4 with Berlin getting the lucksack final win. I mean, you have to be a lucky team to score 26 in the second qtr. alone off 13 sacks, right? >piff<

So I guess the moral is if you lost to us in the regular season you're safe in eth playoffs and if you beat us you're probably 66% ok if it's the final. Otherwise we'll roll you with three 4th qtr field goals or something.

lol...i just hope we don't have to face you in the playoffs...the score wasn't as close as it should have been.
