I have the chanceto buy a piece of AE for my LB with +2 tackling and the Closing Speed SA.

Has anyone else found closing speed useful for an LB?

I dont think it can hurt.

I just bought the same piece earlier this week, as it was the best piece of AE I could get in 7 rolls. I'll keep it and upgrade it until I find something better. I did have my first FF this scrimmage. Coincidence? (probably, but he did get to the RB quicker than I thought he normally did)

Bought the same thing for my LB, but with +3 Speed. It helps you make more tackles across field. If you're getting burned on a long play, it obviously triggers there. Other than that, he doesn't look that much faster than he did prior to buying it. I would suggest you buy it and upgrade it to test it out, but look for something better a few levels from now.
