season swaps happening in season, I didnt think Bort would allow it, but I guess he is.

Wow, let's get rid of those comp. teams and get some good teams in here. I'm still not sold on Bort actually going through on it but if we get 16 solid in Alpha it will make things a lot funner.

I AGREE, Randy has done the lions share of the work around here, so I feel like some of us could help him out a little. Im in!

That thread says nothing from Bort stating they are doing swaps mid-season. Also, considering that would mess up the schedule for people who haven't faced the gutted teams yet, could affect season end rankings (which can be based on number of points in a tie) etc.. I would be against it.

Note: Our team has already benefitted by playing one of these gutted teams. It is why we are presently ranked #1 in the EEPro as the tie breaker is points scored.

It is unfortunate, but I could not be behind a mid-season league shuffle.

Very doubtful that it would happen. Thorn has already told me that we are stuck with what they gave us the first time, I doubt that they would do anything new that stats and everything has started. Schedules are fixed .. no way .. Bort is way too lazy to do that.

Agree that it will not be done mid-season.

Disagree that Bort is lazy. He just has different priorities than you. Not saying they are right or wrong, just different. But I wouldn't think "lazy" is in the equation.

for a variety of reasons i dont see how it would work to change teams mid season. for instance, what if one team gets to face a CPU team while another faces a 54 OVR replacement?

im not sure if i like the reshuffle process each offseason, as it would kill too many rivalries, but every other would be fine with me.

i kind of like being able to beat up on teams a few times each season!
