I don't know the stats but I would assume that these players don't make up the majority of people playing this game. Meaning that the bulk of the game is at a disadvantage, and new players to the game will always be at a disadvantage until their 10 season. Basically you pay boost after boost after boost, to be on the top for 1 season, when the people who signed up at the start got to be on top for 10 whole seasons.

Ive been saying this and COMPLETELY regretting not making more players when I first started playing (couldnt really afford it). Now that I have the $$/ability to make lots of players it is already season 6 and I realize..hey Jayden (my OT) will be one of the best players for 10 seasons yes but what about all my other guys I made 2, 3,4,10 seasons later. Basically u spend 9 seasons trying to get good before you get 1 or at most 2 great seasons. Idk but I see this as one of the biggest flaws in the system that people who started early or people who spent shit-tons of $$ early in the game (LUN comes to mind along w/many others) will always have the competition AND fun advantage. Essentially almost all new players will never get to play on a Pro team except for their last 1 or 2 seasons just because of their creation date, thats why Bort keeps making lower, shit league..for all the new players who may never get to the highest level of GLB

Exactly, that is why I think the server/region idea would work.

i wouldnt necessarily say that's true at all... i look at it more in 5 season cycles. sure players made in season 2-4 are going to be at a severe disadvantage, but players made in 5-6 will be ready to step in when the first wave retires, and with the added knowledge of seasons of building, reading, adjusting etc those players should be much better than 90% of players made in season 1 or 2.

sure, there's no instant gratification, but just think of it as all those hours people spend camping locations in mmprpg's waiting for something to drop

Bort could have done things to help prevent this, like have two relegations/promotions or prevent in-season sells completely

I can understand why you did what you did, but don't piss in the pool and say it's lemonade

as a GM of the team, I can assure you were were intending to compete this season. We were actually very excited to be in Pro, even though we wouldn't make the playoffs this season.

Our owner lost his ability to run the team effectively for personal reasons. As a team, we were saddened. But these things happen. It was not his intention to create a CPU team and we certainly didn't leave because Pro was too tough.

We were actually HOPING we'd make Pro based on the relegation system. I wish I could take a pic of the forum to prove this but I left and am no longer a part of it.

Best of luck.
