Yeah. 6 is about ideal for a 4-3 I think. But this is coming from a guy who's defense is down to 3 LBs. 5 sounds like one hell of a luxary. lol

Well, it looks like the deal for the level 39 LB and level 37 CB is going to go through...Can't wait for that to be finalized...

I understand about linebackers better now. Big Money taught me that goin up against a few great ones can put you on yer ear.

I have 5, and only 1 is over level 11. My D is pretty much anchored at 4-3, and with the advice, I think I'll go get that 6th LB now.

LBs have become like gold ever since Bort introduced the 3-4 alignment as an option.

they are huge, it seems, if you have enough of them. I dunno though. Strong 4-3 rush can do many things against a running team. against a passing team, if the rush aint strong enough, 3-4 could rule.

If I had a team, big if, in the 35ish range with a 4-3 rush that just wasnt cuttin the mustard, 3-4 would be what I'd work on.

Just rambling now. I do like the changes they've put in, even since I've been on board. I love this game.

I'm not advocating the 3-4 over the 4-3. I'm just saying that having the option to run the 3-4 increased demand and helped create a shortage at the LB position.

Both definitely have their advantages. We dont run a 3-4 yet, but I can see situations so far that would make a 3-4 advantageous.

*rolls up another linebacker!*
