Just let this be a lesson that builds and levels trump depth even on depleted teams.

Congrats on the win; however, I wouldn't say that the Neuchâtel Knights have any depth. In fact after further review I see that my pick was a stupid one. They have lots of players, but to mean that doesn't mean they have depth.

I agree that builds trump most everything, except for maybe game planning.

I have noticed that Bort seems to have increased the performance of CPU players.

I spent very little time making my east picks as they are not important to me.

Look at our first game. That better illustrated what I was talking about because they had a roster full of level 24 types if I remember correctly.

CPU players have always had a somewhat constant performance though. My first season owning, four seasons, ago when I was first signing everybody I almost had a complete roster and went against a team full of slightly higher level cpu's(BBB 13's first season) and they still barely won despite only having two or so human players.

I saw the same thing happen to another team last season as well so it's been a constant somewhat throughout since the CPU's have no SA's and all base stats.

I'm just mainly sad about the current state of my team because if I could have held everything together that we had were going to be a top 5 team in the league this season.

I'd agree with you now and it'd probably be worse due to what happened to my team in the offseason. Some of the owners that have been here the last two seasons knew we pretty much had a top 4 offense overall(#1 passing) and a top 9 or so defense and with the promotions, etc. we would have had a great shot at the title this year.

Unfortunately I was faced with a few guys moving onto friends teams and then I had a family situation come up where I was unable to spend time on the game due to bigger priorities and things just fell apart.
