Im making amy LB a pure hard hitting machine...My STR and Vision is soft capped and my tackling is following. I want to try and get tackles while my tactics is on POwer hitting and I dont miss alot of tackles.

Can this idea work?

Only if you always play opponents that run exclusively inside.

It's a good idea, but a good MLB has to...inside run stuff, cover the TE on LOLB blitz, cover the HB/FB on routes and blitz the QB.

Not to mention one of the biggest factors on making a good tackle and fumble, seem to be getting a good, clean, square hit on the ball carrier, for that you need speed and agility to get into position and POP the guy!

unless you plan on getting str up to 68, put all equipment there. Then get your tackling up to 70 natural. sure go for it. I have 50 str. and 50 tackling and miss tackles on combo, it's retarded.

On top of that you would need the vision, speed and agility to get there,to make the tackles. Not worth it i.m.o.

I'll tell you right now that it doesn't work against good teams, but hey go for it anyway. You'll be lucky to generate two fumbles a season unless you stay in D or lower level leagues.

= 100 tackles a season. All on 8 yard runs.
