there's two different paths to get to the QB. straight through the A or B gaps, or around the outside of the tackle. big difference in what it takes to do either.

are you going to back up anything you say? or just spout pointless posts?

I have never seen this guy say anything wrong.

didnt say it was wrong i just wish he would stop being so vague. Just saying 'everybody else is wrong' doesnt really help too much

there's more than one way to be effective in this game. there's no cookie cutter approach to follow and i'm not going to tell people there is. watch the sims. evaluate your performance. think about what could improve it. understand your scheme.

GLB is more than just getting the highest number you can. there's more to winning than stats and trophies.

My olb worked good pass rushing last season and is doing fine so far this season as well.

At level 26 I have vision capped, agility capped, speed 55 (on the way to second cap), jumping about 30, strength 35ish tackling 40. I just got a tunnel vision SA piece of equipment. My custom is on the pass rushing tree other then that I have no SA's. None are worth investing in besides maybe Shed block when you hit the high 30's

hope I could help

If you're certain you're gonna be an OLB, speed should be your number 1 priority; equally as important though, your defensive scheme has to allow your LBs to be your pass rushers. My LB hasn't played in a pro league or any of those higher leagues but at level 21 he has both agility and vision over 50 and speed over 70 and has gotten solid results, albeit most of his sacks have gone against terrible teams. I would stay away from SAs until your most important base stats are well over the first cap.

Bring speed to the second cap before working on other attributes? Or not until speed/agility/vision are all soft capped?

that's a personal decision. i would prefer to get agility and vision to the soft cap as they are majors. the .25 gain for speed is not meaningless but it's not huge either.
