How many outputs do you normally have per input on your defensive AI?

Im just curious because I believe its pretty counterproductive to have a bunch of outputs. Then you never know what defense your running really.

I'm not so sure. I have about 6-7 outputs depending on the situation (less for obvious passing plays, more for situations that could be either run or pass). For some games, I'll just assign 0 to some outputs depending on any scouting I do. The more outputs, the more options I have so I can adjust to the other team's Offense. Also, the more outputs you have, the harder it is for anyone scouting to pick up your tendencies.

I follow this to a degree.

If the team is a run-first team, I set pass defense outputs to 0% chance and increase the run outputs accordingly. However, I still maintain passing and running scenarios, so its more of a 1st-and-10 setting where I play with percents.
