What I've seen [minor], but mostly from what I've read [major].

Corners are giving a bigger cushion than in the past, and it is resulting in easier completions, higher completion percentages, imo.

I would like the CB's to have an option to "bump and run" along with Close, Medium and Far.

We (49ers) played a team significantly lower leveled than us today, but my spread worked exactly how I wanted it to. If you wanna take the time to watch it I think it may impress some.

As an experiment, we tried a pretty run-heavy spread offense for our two preseason games. A respectable come-from-ahead loss 28-23 (our defense isn't that great), and a 62-6 demolition of a team that's pretty cpu heavy (which, a lot of our backups are cpu as well.)

Cmon man. I know you said significantly lower leveled than you, but even my guys were a 30 overall when the entire team was level 4.

I would like to see it in action against some real competition, but this doesn't really prove/impress anything/anyone.

Then you should look at my other post on this thread for when we played a team that is a lot better than us. They spread still worked very well, considering the level differences.

Our QB went 22/37, for 370 yards and 3 touchdowns and 2 int.. and all 5 receivers had 3+ catches... Also, that game was before anyone on my team boosted while everyone on their team had done so.. so in that sense, the offense was very successful..
note: in that game I had the advanced AI messed up, default defensive AI in place, and had it set to run about 10 more carries than intended.

we were the laser cats, we lost because of our defense so yea it was an even match up but our QB averaged 20 yards a comletion

Ran a moderate spread in our second preseason game. Only have a couple I-form plays in our playbook, rest of it is shotgun, singleback, and pro set.

What I really liked is our success running out of the shotgun and singleback formations.

(the strict run : pass ratio doesn't look like a spread offense, but consider that we didn't start running till we were up, we had 36 passes to 15 rushes in the first three quarters)
